My sincere apology for not posting and sharing as often as I should have been writing. There are no legitimate excuses for staying dry and rigid in the mind. Many pondering thoughts flooded my mind and ended up just fragments--broken and sinking words that never put on a page. Now I wonder if I could even call myself a writer when the only commodity to writing is to write every day no matter what the surrounding circumstances are...and failed to do it. However, that's in the past. I always have Today to recoup my train of thoughts, rediscover who I really am according to the divine grace and power and the love of God for me. And that is the most important truth that holds true through eternity. You may hear voices in your head telling you hideous things that you've done Yesterday but you can't undo the Past. And you're not Alone... We've all been there to a point where it got us to taking medications and a lot of praying. Who wouldn't be a part of the statistic of millions suffering from one illness/disease to another? But let me tell you something--it takes a lot of courage and faith to do the right/moral thing on every stance in life. If you have friends and people in your circle that are weighing you down, let them go. Think about it: why are you wasting your time waiting on them to change? You can only be responsible and accountable to your actions. The same principle applies when it comes to your jobs and hobbies--they could become burdensome when you're letting the murmurings cripple you to change course. Never let fear and unfamiliarity be your crutches. It is never too late to let the dead things and people go... in your life. Of course only you who knows the right ones for you; the ones that God had put in your life for a season and those that will be with you for all seasons. Happy first day of September! |

"My Cocoa Turns Ten (in human years) Today"
Add caption |
My way of splurging on my dog's 10th birthday is very simple. We went out walking in the morning. I just let her do more of his sniffing on his favorite corners. I kinda went with her pace. Afterwards, I took her to Petsmart where she helped me pick her new toy; bought her a new leash and a small personal birthday cake. I couldn't find any single party hat or tiara and a birthday banner so we found all that in the General Dollar Store--on our way home.
I also gave her a bath using Martha Stewart's product shampoo and served her kennel food with canned Dutch ham earlier at breakfast. She devoured that in less than 3 minutes. I think Cocoa looked so pretty wearing that tiara but I wouldn't be surprised if she'll put up a fight with me to wear it. Glitters catch none of my attention either.
Thank God for my dog Cocoa. I know she's just a dog but what a very special dog she is in my life. I pray for another ten healthy years for her. Looking at her pictures when she was a puppy and now a senior dog made me realized how my years count because of her.
Happy happy 10th birthday to you Cocoa!!!

"A Reservoir of Good Things..."

More often now that I reserve the depths of my emotions against external trends. I have to restrain myself from expressing how I stand Biblically on the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman when it all ratified by man's court more than two weeks ago. For me, it all comes down to Genesis1:27 KJV which says," So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them and then in Genesis 2:22 KJV says that And the rib, which the Lord had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Finally, in Mark:10:9 KJV which says: "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." I put my heart & soul to this gospel.
You can't beat the truth and the purity and the power of God's word. We may want to modify, add or make changes to suit our flesh and we can temporarily but not without eternal punishment of our actions. Every deed or thought without repentance will cost your entry to "the streets of gold." You will deny yourself that reunion with your loved ones who have gone before you with the Lord and more importantly, you will forever regret in agony why you had turned deaf, blind, mute and numb to the heart of God's calling...?
John 14:6 KJV; Jesus saith unto Thomas, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me."
You see I come from a very traditional reign of marriage that upholds "till death do us part." My parents were married for 55 years. My dad died in 2005 and my mom never remarried. My siblings, & most of my relatives and friends that I have still are together. I love that commitment & the solidarity. I love what that stands for--love for God.
In Isaiah 40:8 says that"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. And then again illuminated in Peter 1:25; But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you,"
There you go...my sentiments are real. I look up unto that cross where Jesus Christ bore all our sins.If there's one thing I truly believe is that we don't know when He calls us home. What would the realms of Philosophy, Psychology and other Social Sciences & Social Media be in your eternal destination if you lose your soul?
I am very much aware of the inundations of what this world offers: happiness is contingent to your circumstances, situations and what you allow yourself to anchor. But the joy of knowing and living with the spirit of the truth of God's word is unparalleled. Once you got it, you don't want to lose it. You want to share it.
And it's been my joy sharing...

" Look Up..."
The Supreme Court of the United States has ruled today that same-sex marriage is legal in all 50 states. With all due respect to the court, it did not define marriage, and therefore is not entitled to re-define it.
Long before our government came into existence, marriage was created by the One who created man and woman—Almighty God—and His decisions are not subject to review or revision by any manmade court. God is clear about the definition of marriage in His Holy Word: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24).

I pray God will spare America from His judgment, though, by our actions as a nation, we give Him less .
I was just done with yard work and washing my car this morning when my eldest sister called me. She was disheartened with the trending news that same-sex marriage is now legal nationwide???
To those of us that faithfully believes in the sanctity of marriage, this man-made unconstitutional provision should not even remotely wreck or distort our moral compass.
Once you've known the Truth and the Creator of divine truth that "God is not the author of confusion but of peace" is a victory beyond chaos. 1 Cor. 14:33
In 2 Timothy, chapter 3, devotes verses "that in the last days perilous times shall come." But, have we really braced our faith to the brim to combat these worldly atrocities in the Word of God? Of course not. We can't do it on our own capacity.
WE just have to keep praying for America and that God would continually pour out His grace.
Thank you, Rev. Franklin Graham, for your wholehearted commitment spreading the good news about our Lord Jesus Christ.
In Luke 21:28 KJV declares that, "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

"This Image has my heart in sheer joy..."
Found this snapshot as I was scrolling down Google plus posts. Many beautiful and endearing posts but when I saw this image of dogs with their respective bowls gripped in their mouths as they're lined up waiting for their food to be given, I have to say that this sense of optimal order & obedience is a joy to inhale...
With the incessant chaos & confusion of trends in this world today, I have to admit this has made me more blessed for having two Labradors. As one commented to this post that these dogs have more sense of discipline and its virtue compared to some of us that are out of control and with ill- mannered outbursts.
Kudos to this dog trainer, too. He's doing an exemplary job at heart.
Thanks to the one who shared this captivating image in Google plus this morning.

"I Know That You Are Near..."
Come & Think About It...
It's no wonder that this Christian band has garnered three awards which are; Artist Of TheYear, Best Live Show & Group/Duo Of The Year at the 3rd annual K-Love Fan Award last Sunday at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
And I've seen them performed--"up close & personal..." about four years ago right here in Central Texas. After that great live performance, I had a greater understanding about worshipping and giving your highest praise to the One that showed us His grace is more than enough to heal all kinds of brokenness. ALL.
Psalm 121 King James Version (KJV)
121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.Monday, May 18, 2015
"More Than You THink I Am..."
One -man powerful performance: all he needed to have was an acoustic guitar, a microphone and his soulful instrument--his voice. But most of all I knew he was singing his best praise to the One who gave him more than his dreams...
I've seen the music video but I truly prefer this-- honest, passionate and compelling.
"Music is one medium of best translation and expression of life."
